Method

  • Strain: Strain the contents of the shaker into your chilled rocks glass over fresh ice.
  • Garnish: Lightly dust the top of the cocktail with nutmeg for a cozy aroma.

  • To make the syrup: 1 cup of water to 1 cup of cane sugar. 1 small jar of cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil into a pot, whiler covered, then let simmer on low for 20 minutes (while covered). Let cool then store in jar, container and refrigerate. Will last for 2-3 weeks. Bonus points : your house will smell like cinnamon.
